Modular Environment Assets

The base of the game consists of many custom modeled assets, that are used as building blocks to create levels. I decided what assets to use with a focus on good distribution between small, medium, and large ones. Each asset gives levels feel of detail and granularity or sense of scale.

I started off with natural assets, that give the scene an organic feel and can be reused. They contain small pebbles near the cliff, small-sized rocks, large-sized rocks, small cliffs and huge cliffs.

Then continued with hard surface assets and small physics assets. They give a player a sense of precision to contrast with natural assets and give urban environment details, they feature many indoor and outdoor assets of medium to small scale.

Last ones were large city assets, to give levels sense of huge scale

Each of these asset types have their place in the game but ultimately, they shine the best when they are merged together
